$645. That is one hell of a deal. Other harddrive players on the market cost over $1000. Not bad, but I doubt the sound quality will be up to par with alpine, pioneer, and eclipse. If you really want the integrated harddrive deal, get a new alpine headunit, then buy an ipod, buy the ai-net connection, and bam! Now you have a portable harddrive you can play in or outside the car for the same price and twice the wow factor with a nice deck and nice mp3 player. A 20 gig ipod now cost about $250. You have plenty left for a top notch headunit. Even the Alpine cda9835 possibly, and you would be really baller.

True, but even 645 is too much considering you can get a car-pc for like $700. The car PC will do all that plus much much more and you could more easily upgrade the HDD, oh, and the HDD would start at like 80gb in the first place.
Not to mention there is another company that makes one for like $750 that has a wifi connection so you can stream your music to your car from your room. THe unit sits in the trunk, and there is a 1din control panel that you mount up front. I still wouldent run one though, the iPod deal is way cheaper and cooler, because a. it's an ipod, and b. you can control it from the HU.
