Rep Power: 304 Pioneer Reference Series Deck... Is it worth it?
I was just browsing through my new Pioneer book and stumbled across something I hadn't noticed previously. I think this actually came out earlier this year, but I haven't seen a post about it here, so I figured I'd share. The new deck, which I can't actually find when searching their site, but I'm probably looking in the wrong place, is titled the DEX-P9 and has an available/optional DSP, which is titled DEQ-P9. I just got the P8, but now, seeing this, it makes me want to get this instead. Those of you out there, is this supposed to be competitive to the F1 stuff of Alpine, or a middle point between it(and similar products from other companies) and the other, more standard, consumer products?
Here is a review I found of it on the web:

Rep Power: 0 the p9 has been out for many years, and its on their website under the premier listing of decks
if you get the p9 combo (dex and deq)
you get:
dual 31 band eq
true 4 way xover (sub, midbass, midrange, high)
6 24 bit burr brown dac's
etc etc etc
i might get one myself
