Question mb quart

anyone here experiment with the tweeters in the sails and also on the speakers?

which did you like better?

i have them on the speakers now i was wondering if they sound better in the sails or some other location?

My quart tweeters could hang from my ears and not be too bright. I used the sail panels just because it was that easy. If I become so inclined, I might make some kicks sooner or later, but I've been avoiding because I don't wan't to interefere with my clutch.

jmaz - did you mount the tweet directly on the speaker behind the stock grille? IMO mounting them in the sail panel allows for better seperation....

it is also thought that the sound quality increases the closer the two speakers are to each other. that is why i have them this way right now. i was wondering if anyone had tried both ways and actually liked them better in the sail panels

It is better to keep compoent pieces withen 15" of each other. It will throw off your staging if they are too far apart.

maybe not, but everyone thats been in my car says it sounds amazing, one of the best they've heard, so it must be pretty good

i am wondering if i should give it a try. i do like them in the doors but maybe they could be better up there.
