in-dash monitor

i'm looking at this in dash monitor and dvd unit on ebay and was wondering if it was good. i don't wanna spend more than $500 for a in dash and dvd, so if you can find anything else that would be great. oh, and on ebay also, cuz i have a gift certificate there.

ya pyles name is pretty much descriptive of their quality.

this is one item where you definitely dont want to jump the gun and buy something just cuz you have a few bucks. save up a little more and get something proper like an alpine/panasonic/pioneer/clarion.

Most of the pyle lcd stuff I've seen is a genric rebadge. With that said if you look around I'll bet you'll might find the same thing with a different name. From what I've seen everybody is using sharp screens. So its matter of the quality of the video driver. I've taken a cheep screen apart and all I can say is ...sh!tty solder work. Stuff can pop off if mishandle, happend to me.

Realy screens are nothing more then eye candy. I use mine to control my computer. There good for pimping purposes, long trips and causing rubber necking.
