Anyone else have an in-dash LCD?
I have just installed my in dash LCD radio/TV. Anyone have an In-dash monitor and if so where have you guys mounted your brain/control unit? I have mine under the seat, but I am thinking about putting it elsewhere.

Those in dash pop-up ones are expensive!! Looks great though, can you play DVDs with it? Can't wait until I can get one in, probably the best way (not in dash) is to do it in front of the cup holders and shifter like dakota has his. If you do keep the controller under the seat, maybe run the wire through the center console. At least that gives it a cleaner look.
I can see you still need a cover for the top ****

Yah, they are not cheap, but they are getting cheaper. Especially if you get one that doesn't play DVD's in the dash. My next thing is to get an DVD player that reads MP3's. It can go in the pocket underneath the radio, but I'm thinking about mounting it in the little cubby hole by the e-brake. That way I can just slide the cover over the top of it when I'm not using it. I haven't found that pocket by the brake very beneficial anyway. In my Accord the brain mounted in the trunk. I still ran the wires down the center console and then underneath the back carpet and under the back seat. I still may put this one in the trunk too. Yah, I'm still missing one of my A/C *****. I called the dealer and they said they don't stock them for my car yet because they don't expect them to break already. It should be here Wednesday, it wasn't bad only $5, but I still haven't the slighest clue where it went.

btw, do you go to UF-Gainesville? I'll prob be there this fall
And if you buy a separate DVD player, I say get a PS2. Not only plays games but also DVDs. Unsure if it plays mp3s though. Never tried...

Actually I don't go to UF, my girlfriend does, I go to the Community College here (SantaFe) but I should be there next fall as well. And Yah, I have a PS2 and I have had it in my car before. There's a couple drawbacks to the PS2. You have to use a DC to AC converter, your gonna have visible wires running in the car(at least teh controller to control the PS2) and then it can have problems skipping. The PS2 was made to be stationary and it can have problems in a car. I've heard some people have not have problems, but I have had some problems with it skipping and it doesn't play MP3's. If I go on a trip and I have a passenger that wants to play games, I would put it in, but other than that it gonna be in my entertainment center.
