My dash kit
So I got a dash kit with the head unit I bought on eBay, and the bottom pocket isn't quite deep enough to put a cd in. ytf would you make one like that? Like the top 1/5 or 1/6 of the cd will hang out. At least in the stock one a cd fits in there. Duh.

^^ lol it's a stupid thing but I did the same with my stock CD holder
IronFist, sell the kit back on ebay and get a Metra 99-7897 so you can put the stock bottom pocket back in and flush mount the deck in the top. If you want to see what it looks like, check out my page in my sig

Ok, rotating a cd 90 degrees... um... a cd is a circle.
Oh, did you mean in the case?
I don't use cd cases in my car because you can fit a lot more cds if you don't use the cases. I usually use burnt cds anyway, so if one gets damaged it's not the worst thing ever.

Here, this is the kit I got. You can see that the pocket isn't deep enough to hold a cd. Maybe I could DIY it and attach the stock pocket, or maybe cut out the pocket on this one and manually make it deeper. What do you think?

How hard is it to change dash kits? If I install this one now and get that one in the future would it be a pain to switch them out?
