Help...2005 Civic SE Sedan HU Replacment
Hi guys,
Just wanted to say i think this sit is great. Found everything i needed to replace my HU. The problem I have found is I cand find the proper mount for my 2005 civic se sedan. I bought a mount for a 2002 from Metra. It has the same shape but was 1/4" to small all the way around. Has anyone found or could put me in the right direction for the proper one.
Thanks

Not sure what Metra has for the 05 or if its any different than 04. Problem is, Metra hasn't updated their catalog since Moses parted the red sea. Best thing to do with Metra is just call and ask for part numbers. The guys there will give an autonomous : "We haven't updated our catolog yet sir, the part you are looking for does exist, the number of the kit is . .. "
I don't even have the 05s in my estimating software yet. So I can't tell if they changed

I can help you out but since I havent seen an 05, take a shitload of pictures of your dash and post them here or send them to me or put them somewhere I can see em.
Some measurements of the size of your opening would be nice too.

I called Metra this morning and he told me that the bracket i was sold was for an Si.
this braket is different and the 99-7899 bracket should work just fine. I am going to pick it up after work and try it. I will keep you updated
