Pioneer vs. Premier

Isn't Premier just Pioneer's high end?

So it looks like they make some of the same things in a Pioneer version and a Premier version.

What's the difference?

If I could get them for the same price would I be better off with the Premier version?

Why?

Thanks.

There are some small differences in the specs too, I don't know what exactly but I believe Premier models have 5v preouts.

Well if all I have amped is my sub then 4V vs. 5V pre outs don't really matter, do they?

What is the advantage of having a 4 or 5V out vs. not having it?

stronger, cleaner signal... 4v is pretty good as it is, 5v is better than most of the decks out there. you can set the gain lower on your amp as a result of the higher voltage (less senstivity is nedeed) and get a better sound.

my deck has 4v preouts but I use a line driver to get the voltage up to 6 which lets me to turn my gain right to 0 and still hit good numbers.
