Woot, finally got my headunit installed! Did it all myself thanks to the DIYs here. Thanks for helping guys. I got the Clarion DXZ745MP instead of the Alpine 9833. The only reason i went for Clarion is because their head unit fits a lot better with the metra kit (the one that lets u keep your bin) and the color changing capabilities that match perfectly with our interior orange light. Overall I am very impress w/ the unit, its not flashy at all, which i love. I hate flashy stuff.

The one thing i'm concerned about is that will the clarion sound as good as the alpine 9833? I hope so since I am adding Infinity Kappa components soon.

you don't need to concern about that since you already got the deck, just be happy as what you have!

I just installed a 735 in my car, and I like it. SQ isn't as good as I hoped it would be but it is still good

Megahurtz, does the headunit seem to outpout less bass than the stock headunit? I'm using stock speakers right now and my clarion is outputing less bass than my stock deck. Well it could also be the weather? I noticed that when its hella cold, my speakers doesn't sound as good as when its like 70F or above. Any suggestions?

I have a system so I wouldn't notice if that was the case.

COULD be the weather, I've noticed that my system sounds different depending on the weather.

Try adjusting your bass gain/freq/q and see if you can make anything better that way.

BTW, I have an 835 not a 735, my bad.
