Why do you even need a switch? Just run the 12volt acessory wire from the deck directly to the battery. Then when you want to turn off your deck, push the off button.

I guess I personally would use a relay instead of just splicing and tapping.. I feel more secure.

make sure none of your other accessories remain on along with the radio!
