Typical sub enclosure carpeted to match trunk is roughly $2500, takes around 3 days.
Yeah, super pricey but our clientele can afford it and no one does it better. Throw in an amp install and $3000 out the door is the norm

^ludlam is right. it's not that hard either. it will just be very time consuming for your first time. you'll need alot of patience...

Well my audio guy charges around $150 for a typical wooden, carpeted enclosure. For some fiber-glassing work I'm unsure however I know it's pretty steep but nowhere near some of the prices you guys were throwing out - probably more around what auto84 does it for - go to your local shop to get an estimate then decide if its too much $$$ - or you could DIY - I personally wouldn't have the patience but that's just me - if your a diligent tool-worker and don't mind messing up a couple of times to get it right then go for it - you'll learn tons and it will be tuned to your perfection

darklegacy540 is on a distinguished road
My shop charges $65 an hour as well. Roughly anywhere from $1500-$2000 for a sub box but if you're looking for something more custom (ie. amp racks, xovers, capacitors, etc) anywhere from $3000-$5000.. The crazy thing is that people actually pay it.. As Ludlam said.. do it yourself for $300.
