no room in the steering column for this wired remote

i just bought this wired remote for my sony cd player.. and bought this wired remote.. but after looking at my steering column.. there is no room to put this thing at... so any suggestions??? on other locations to put this remote???? any suggestions will be appreciated.. thanks

you mean like where the window switch is and stuff??? damn.. that would be nice... hehehehe but i wanna keep in close to the steering wheel as possible.. but probably gonna use the door pannel as a last resort.. any other suggestions...
