Alpine IVA-d300 function with a remote?
Hey,
wondering if anyone has any experience with the iva-d300 from alpine, i know it has pulse touch technology from alpine, but doesnt come with a remote. Im wondering if alpines universal remote RUE-4187, would work with this unit?
if u know..please shed some light

Rep Power: 0 well im not sure, just wanted to ask around to see if anyone has had any experience with this unit using a remote. the one major reason is that i have heard the touch-screen can sometimes burn out, besides that i think it would be a pain in the a$$ to operate without one

Rep Power: 328 Alpine currently has 3 screens in production...the D300, the 900, and another one thats getting discontinued.
The 900 is the top of the line, retailing at $2,300. The 300 is only about $1300

Rep Power: 379 901 is supposed to be the top of the line. It basically comes down to trim. The 901 has a grey finish with blue buttons similar to the f#1 status CDA-7990. They share the same LCD qualities and the 900 series is currently the brightest 7" on the market. The 300 is "pulse-technology" screen but DOES NOT have the resoultion of the 900 series.
