Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. My gf just brought an 01 civic, but her stock HU doesnt work for some reason. At first it works sometime and other times it would just turn off randomly on its own. Now its just dead, it still turns on and all the functions still work, but theres just no sound coming from the speakers. Anyone have this problem before? If someone could give me some advice on how to fix this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.

might be loose wires or something behind the HU? try using the DIY for removing the stock radio and check the connections at the back, and make sure u set the Fade and Balance settings properly.. other then that I dunno... might just be a faulty headunit
