Raw Lcd Modules
Raw Lcd Modules
Has anyone here used one of these. Are they reliable or should I just get an aftermaket screen from, "lets say Clarion". I guess I just want to know the ups and downs of using just a lcd module.

The monitor looks good. Only one thing your gonna have to build your own housing for the monitor or figure out a way to mount the screen in a headrest or visor since there is no reall way to mount it unless you build your own.
Thats the only big advantage of a big name brand LCD (besides reliabilty) they are headrest ready, they come with everything you need, so I guess you got to think how much work you really wanna do then decide.

Personally I wouldn't buy that unless you are dead set on that monitor for that price..
You could get a monitor for that size for as cheaper or cheaper from a no name brand and they would usually still be headrest ready. There are plenty of brands like NESA that make good monitors THAT COME WITH HOUSINGS
and don't cost a lot
You are taking some risks on having hte PCB expose like that, it would damage very easily and is very susceptible to dust obviously and stuff liket hat

So NESA is a good monitor? I found one of those but did not know much about them.
