How much is this audio system?

Hey Guys,

I have no idea how much I should spend on this audio system so I'm asking you guys for a price quote so I know how much to spend when I go to an audio place and start talking about prices and installation fees. I the system I want to get is stock HU, Infinity Kappa, Alpine amp, and get it professionally installed. How much will this cost me?

P.S.
I am thinking of getting apine 9833 later if I have extra money, but as of now, i'm thinking the alpine amp will power the component speakers. Do you guys think its a good idea to do this?

Andy positive feedbacks/posts will be greatly appreciated.

Infinity kappa 60.5c, alpine mrv-f340 are what I got and currently doing the installation on them. The installation for comp speaker is tough which requires running/changing speaker wires. drill..etc, I have someone helping me right now if you are interested to diy them or else I heard around 150 for installation. Infinity speaker I got around 170, amp around 250 and hu I got is 9831 for about 270. ye, you definitely can get amp/comp first and later on get hu, but I am not sure if the stock hu has any rca for you to hook your amp. usually people go hu first then speaker to amp..

if you run stock HU you can get a factory converter (line converter) that taps into speaker wire and spits out RCAs, my first setup in my old car i had the stock hu for a while..

What do you think i should change first, my speakers or my head unit? I more things I learn about car audio the more i'm confused on that to do first. I figured that the best thing to do is EVERYTHING at once. That way, at least i'd save money on installation fees or labor if i decide on doing it myself. But Alpine 9831, Infinity Kappa, Alpine Amp is going to cost like $700, and I can't justify spending all that money at once.

who told you that have to do everything at once? You will lose your enjoyment on diy/reading forum right there, i would really suggest you get HU first, in every gear you upgrade you will notice the difference and that's the fun part!, I am learning about car audio too and currently doing diy for my amp/hu/comp speakers, I buy all at once is because I haven't had any music in my ride for about an year that got my car jacked from amp/hu/sub/speaker all the way to rims, and I want to have sound b4 the fall qtr start.

ps: civic racer: you are at oc? I am at diamond bar, we can meet sometimes and talk about all these car audio tho~~

LOL, if we meet up call me up. I live in Anaheim. Okay finally got definite prices on some ebay searches. Kappa 6.5" $160, Apline MRV-T320 2 channel Amp $134, Alpine CDA9833 $255. Total = 549 . Sounds very reasonable to me.

P.S.
2 channel amp is good right? I mean all i'm powering is the Kappa speakers in the front, I see no reason to get a 4 channel amp.

Amp for front speakers
Subs and Amp for subs

I'm thinking maybe stock HU $50 (from a member or something) , speakers around $150~200 , amp $200~300 , Wiring $75~100 , Professional installation $100 total, I'm guessing around 600~700.
