One of the improvements from 03 --> 04 civic was listed as better speakers... i took a look at the 6x9's in the back and they said pioneer 09046...are these still crappy speakers? pioneer is a good brand.... should i replace them with better ones. does anyone like polk or no?

no mine shake my entire car, i dont know why im even putting a sub in, my car bumps stock. leave it alone pioneer =

I love Polk. I have the db6500 components in my doors. In the rear, I opted for the db 5 1/4" speakers. I only use them for a little bit of rear fill. I also have 2 Polk 12s in the trunk. The system is still under construction, but getting close to being done. I"ll post pics as soon as it's done.

They are okay but not that great, I would still recommend getting a pair of 6x9's to put in there and perhaps even a low powered sub and amp to bring up the low end a bit
