Talking HELP, AMP wiring that woudn't get me ENGINE NOISE!

I am installing an amp/component speaker/headunit right now, thank you for all you buddies support i appreciate it.

Now, I have another question about running the wires for amp, I know that amp's RCA and Power wires need to be seperate to avoid engine noise. How about remote wire and the speaker wires hooking on the crossover?
Now, I go RCA/14 gauge speaker wire hooking on crossover/remote wire all on 1 bundle in center, and power wire all alone at passenger side.

I want to know if my wiring is in good shape and not getting engine noise by that. Or you guys suggest in different way such as RCA/SPEAKER WIRE 1side, remote/power the other?
TKS!!

That looks pretty good

Remote wire is very small to put any noise into your system, but it definitely would not hurt to run it alongside your power wire. The way it is though it should not cause any problems

I agree ^
I laugh at those RCAs you can buy where it has the rcas and the remote wire all in a bunch so you don't have to run the remote wire seperate but still.. convienent, yes.. Logical, no. Pretty much nothing noticeable to the ear but it might show up on an oscilloscope. ha I might have to check that out at work sometime.

if u get serious engine whine... it might be ur deck. I ran a 4 ch with a JVC deck... MAJOR engine whine, switched it with a pioneer and had little to none. Added some ground loops and it was all clear. So check ur wiring, your deck and add ground loops if you need it.

dude if you getting a engine whine, you ground isnt really grounding.. Scrape of some paint where ever your ground is and it will take care of the whine.

In civics, I find that other than the ground, a lot of engine whine comes from RCAs behind the HU. 1st You should recheck all grounds. Then check for breeches in RCAs.

If possible, shield your RCA's where they come out of the Head unit. I'd shield it at least 2 feet. Then, make sure you make a seperate run from any current carrying wire. Like run the RCA's down the driver's side, and power/remote down the passenger side. Or, one down the side, and one down the center. Keep them seperate and you should be all good.

what brand of amp? When I did my install in 2K3, my four channel Poweracoustik ended up being the culprint for the engine noise - upgrading to an Alpine MVR-F340 was the fix.

Cheaper brands of amps simply don't have as good noise reduction circuity as higher end amps do. Your other option is to use power line or RCA filters. Pros here wil poo-poo it but if you need a cheap fix - rad shack RCA ground loop filters served me well through 3 installs.
