something like this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...715114260&rd=1

you can also go cheaper..there are some good 14/2 rolls on there from 25-40 depending how much lenght you need.

Yeah that's nice wire

Also spend a mint on any digital optical/coaxial or analog connections between your audio components (especially DVD player) and your reciever

Yeah, Monster Cable is made with patent pending Pixie Dust, so they magically are better than any other cables out there.

Monster Cable is perfectly good wire, but you can buy the same quality wiring from another manufacturer and pay half the price, since you aren't paying for Monster's marketing. It costs a lot of money to come up with cool sounding stuff like "Patented Magnetic Flux Tube®," "award-winning XP® technologies," and "LPE insulation reduces dielectric signal loss for greater clarity."

Sorry, Monster Cable pisses me off.

some people like it...i also suggested the cheaper stuff on ebay....there are things that it does well, its made well, good jacket, flexiable strands, strips easy....it all does the same stuff, but there are some aspects that make wire different

I actually found great wire at Big Lots. It was a closeout of RCA home theater stuff from somewhere. I got all the wire, RCAs, etc I could ever want. Cost me 1/4 of what it would have getting th exact same stuff from Circuit City for full price. It was nice stuff.

Walmart actually has some nice speaker wire in the car section ....
