Sub doesn't play nemore....

Okay, starting yesterday, my sub keeps fading(plays for about 10 secs, and stops). I'm like okay wtf. Well today, it just stopped playing COMPLETELY. This is getting on my nerves. Anyone know whats wrong?

check all your fuses for your amp(s)

check the speaker wire connections, make sure that they are nice and tight, to the amp and sub

check the sub if you have too

check the ground wire on the sub amp, make sure it's grounded good

Well, i tweedled with the wires, and for a brief moment, i had bass, but after that it just ceased once more. I checked the sub, but it looks fine. Could it be bad wires?

check the ground wire like everyone said, I had the same problem, thats what it was, especially if it comes on then turns off, its probably getting juice then when you turn or your sub box moves a little it doenst connect anymore.

Ground wires?? Sorry, I'm a total newbie when it comes down to stereo tech stuff. Would this be the wire connecting to the amp?

The ground is the wire that connects the amp to the car's chassis.
