Can't see my headunit

Here is my problem:

I had a rockport headunit but it's crap now. Now I have and Alpine 9813 (i believe) but for those of you how know alpines they have a very large(thick) face and it sticks up really high. Now since the dash is pointing up the glare hits the face and I can never see any, except at night. Do you guys have the same problem. If so how did you fix it. I should I just stuff the headunit as far back as possible. I was thinking of putting it where the cigarette lighter is but I don't want to do all that work unless I have to.

Any help????

Flip flop the radio and pocket using the double din kit and universal pocket. I wrote a DIY on it. It moves it down lower, and flatter on the dash.

get some some anti glare film and cut it to size and place it on the radio screen.

1. click the search button
2. type in radio pocket flip flop DIY
3. click perform search
4. scroll through threads and find the one I wrote

alternative: I updated the thread today. It should still be on the first page of this section

I had the same problem and returned the 9813 and got the 9815. The display is way better and you can read it even in direct sunlight.
