How loud is your car? Post your SPL score here!
Anyone been to a show lately or have their cars metered? Just trying to see what everyone is pulling for numbers in the 7th gens. List what you have for equipment, what way your subs face, and your spl number.
Right now i have 4 12's sealed firing up and i'm only hitting a 146.8
have to go back to the single 15 firing back ported which i had last year doing a 148.6
Post em up!

in my old 88' regal with no dynomat i had.......
(1) 15" mtx rfl with a xtant 1001D and (1) battery and i hit 150.8db with a 56hz burp. I hit consistent 149, 150's.... but that was my highest.
edit: it was a 5.5 cu.ft. ported box in a wall

Rockford Fosgates Demo H2 was hitting over 160 at the last CES 2004 show.
And that was with 10 12" Series 3 fosgate subs.
this is what that looks like
and this
They are pretty big movies, just deal with it cuz they are very cool
that was also with only 150 watts per sub. that box design was by my buddy kyle
here we are at world finals with a losing score of 174.2 with two clicks left on the volume ****. you guys dont know about spl untill you make a 4wd truck front wheel drive, lower the bed floor to stack two 18's vertical, build a steel floor and bracing all around the box with 2x2 square tubing, fill the entire truck with 65+ bags of concrete, builds a 44+ cubic foot box where i could sit in the port (6'2" 230 pounds) then try to mount 16 sixteen volt batteries under the truck with 16 amps on a folding amp rack. took 3 guys four months to loose by a lane on the old mics. there was a .7 diff between mics...no one else broke 174.0 the entire show. i think we had the loudest car in extreme 1-2 that year......damn it makes me sad to think about it...
