bought a stock honda cd/am/fm head unit on ebay and the cd won't completely insert. motor only pulls it in partially. any easy tricks on how to fix this before i pull it out and send it back?

just popped the stereo out. i am getting better, it took 20 minutes. the first time i tried, it took over an hour (had to figure out what sockets to use). hopefully the third and last time will be the fastest.

well see, this is a case of leaky gears. the motors controlling the cd insertation have sprung a leak ccausing the momentum to die down when they put pressure thereby leaking.
what theyre leaking, i cant quite figure it out, but check your flux capacitor on the way out.
if all else fails let some air out of the tires

Ignore ludlam THe unit is broken, probably why it was for sale on ebay, so you can either send it back and get a refund, or buy a new one.

The cd mech needs to be reset but in order to do that you need to tear it apart and take out the mech, easier way is to send it back or take it to a repair shop for fixin
