I have a regular Viper alarm and it's not too sensitive, but the installer told me the force of something breaking a window will be enough to set off the alarm.

Not if they use diamond cutter or something that doesn't cause alot of vibration. But what are the chances of that happening?

I have a "Glass Tampering Sensor/Mic" and it works REALLY well.

If it's set sensitive enough it'll pick up moisture trickeling down any one of your windows and set off warning chirps until it gets pissed and goes off completely..haha

tacheon is on a distinguished road
I got one. It's a microphone that listens for the frequency of glass breaking, not the force of glass breaking. You can adjust the sensitivity of it. You test it by a glass break tester which is a hand held device that makes a high frequency chirp to simulate glass breaking. Also car thieves don't use diamond cutters. They use something else cheaper and quieter which I will not mention on the web for obvious reasons. However, this still makes the high frequency sound to to set off the glass break sensor. I highly recommend these over these stupid shock sensors. A properly adjusted glass break sensor doesn't false.

You could try diode isolating it and put it on the same circuit as your shock sensor if you have one... that would probably work

Take note of how I say probably

I was going to do that with a motion sensor I bought but the shock alarm is internal. It's all one unit. I think thats why I can't get it as sensitive as I want

JJF is an unknown quantity at this point
Your alarm should have an instant trigger wire you should be able to use. It is probably blue.
