<HIJACK THREAD> What is the company the Crossfire owns that makes amps? I forget the name, but the amps are all black and yellow, along with the binder inserts they give to dealers. I was just at my local car audio store putting my $50 down on a JL Audio HO210R-W3v2 so when my check clears tomorrow ill pick it up. Anyway, i was looking at amps and i had a long discussion over how I can get a clean 5 - 600 watts rms for around $250. He showed me Crossfire's stuff, then the other companies stuff, saying crossfire just made a new company so they could make amps with less features for cheaper without ruining their reputation. Whats the name? </HIJACK THREAD>

ive never heard of the crossfire amps, but from the price they sound VERY in-expspensive. maybe too cheap! IMO, i would recomend something better quality amps. And if cost is a factor id skimp somewhere else then on the amps. Ive had better luck on sound quality with good amps and cheap speakers then cheap amps and good speakers

get rid of the caps, for 25 bucks more you can buy a 150 amp alternator.
also, the crossfire and rockford speakers have never impressed me. nor have standard crossfire a/b amps. their sub amps are great, but everything else is just average.
if youre gonna spend that much money, at least go with some better stuff...

Its funny that crossfire's amps are 'crap' to you people yet the've helped systems push over 176 db and have been in the SPL world record holding vehicles 3(?) years running.

for the record i never said they were crap cause ive never heard of them that i can recall( ive been on prescription narcotics for last 2 years do to injury
), i just questioned thier value seemed low , and would think quality would be similar. But i must be wrong
Im used to spending $1500-2000 on a pair of amps. Of course i paid retail mostly ( not suggested list ).
