Below the glove box to the left, there is a cluster of wires going thru a rubber grommet. You can run your wire thru there. It was a pain with 4 gauge, but fairly easy with 8.

i ran 0 gauge though there, plus the wires for my fuel system, boost gauge and a/f gauge.
I ran my cable between the passanger side fender and engine compartment to the door jam. From there you will see a grommit that you can cut a hole big enought to run 0/1 ga. (what I ran). doesn't interfear with the door or hinges at all.
i drilled a hole on the passenger side near the cluster of wires....used a gromet and ran the 0 guage thru there..most people run it down the passenger side cause the battery is on that side.

Question:: Is the firewall on the passenger side is the hole on the left side (of passenger) floor?
'cause if it is... how did you guys put wires thru it? it looks pretty packed... and even when i try to poke a screw driver in, still couldn't get it thru....
TIA

There is space to the right of the cluster of wires that you can push a large wire through
Try the wire hanger way. The end will give you some poking power, and it keep the wire stiff so it doesnt bend when you try and apply force to it
