When I play mp3 cd's in my Pioneer DEH-P860mp hu, it plays the tracks out of order. I have the CD's in their individual folder, and say the tracks are named "Track 01.mp3" through "Track 10.mp3"

... it will start off playing "T1", for track one, but actually be playing "Track 08.mp3". If I push next to go to "T2", for track two, it might go to "Track 05.mp3" and so on.

Before anybody asks, it is not on Random, because even if it was, it would not play "T1", then "T2", "T3", etc...

So how does it determine the track order from the folder? It apparently is not based on the alphabetic order or anything like that. As you can imagine, this can be very aggravating.

hmm, ok well i tried another 2 cd's and they worked right...

thats wierd. I have a sony HU that plays mp3 in order of the file name. maybe shuffle is on, but you don't know it

its either based on alphabetical order, or how you burned it. i know i had 2 diff cd players play the same cd's in diff orders...
