need help wiring from shift boot to dash

I need some help (Gearbox you expert if you read this I don't want to
keep bombin you with pm's.) I have a new indiglo type r shift ****, it is
cool, but wiring it is not! I pretty much know what wires (thanks to some of ya'll) to run,
2 yellow from invertor box to to blue from shift ****, black from invertor box to ground, red to live wire in dash or fuse box (parking lights)...

Now, I don't know where to run the wires! I don't want them just hanging between the shift
boot and dash! Where do they run!!??? Do I have to take out the whole center console??!!
How do I run them?

And, I have noticed 2 removable slots on the panel right next to the 12V cig lighter slot. I would really like to put somethin like a switch in one of the slots to toggle my shift **** light.

How do I put in a switch like this?

When I removed some panels and looked under the panels where the fuse box is there are
a million wires!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What red and white wire is the parkling lights wire?

Well, I would appreciate some advice with the electronics! I don't want to pay the installers
$60 for something I can do!

Thanks!

Well, you can try and run wires by stuffing under the pnels, but it's better to just take the console and dash out. Those slots will come out and then you just have to drill holes and make an opening to mount the switch. You need to remove the panel around the gauge cluster, and most likely the radio and or center console. You'll see lots of space to run wires. For wire, get the same or thicker than what comes on the shift ****. I'll try and take pics, but I'm really busy now. The wire you want is the red/black coming out of the blue connector (not green).
