My Pioneer DEH-P8200r head unit for my civic has an annoying blinking light that is very noticable at night time......I figured out how to do it before but I had to disconnect my battery and the problem started up again. If anyone has this unit or if you know how to turn it off please help me out. A website where I could post a question might also be helpful I've searched around biut I haven't really found anything. Thanks Guys

I'm guessing you lost your manual? When mine starts up for the first time, it gives you choices for a secret menu by holding down button one or two. Then you get options for security and stuff. They're probably different, though.

did you try the menu you get to when the unit is off?
on newer pio's, you hold down the function button while the unit is off
your other option is a little piece of black electrical tape.
