For Those Looking for MD/JDM Headunits

www.audiocubes.com I was searching the net for places in the US that sell the Clarion SRK603 and came across this website.
The site has many different Japanese domestic market headunits available for purchase.
So for those of you looking for MD equipped HU's or 2DIN HU's, this is the place.

A warning that you do pay a premium for the stuff they sell since they do the importing.
For example, the Clarion SRK603 is a 1DIN sized center speaker to complete your 5.1 channel car theatre. The site sells it for $249.00. The Retail price on Addzest's catalog is 19,800YEN, which translates to around $190.

I'm glad that this was posted!!! I've been searching everywhere looking at how I would be able to get a JDM radio to play the US radio stations. Right now I'm in Japan and have seen some of the TIGHTEST radios that I know I wouldn't see anywhere else!!!

You can get the radio to tune into US stations in the US.
I've bought numerous portable audio devices in Japan and brought it back for use in the US. There are no problems whatsoever that I can remember.

Heres my advice while your in Japan (Tokyo I'm assuming)

NEVER BUY DUTY FREE!!!! DON'T YOU EVER SHOW YOUR PASSPORT!!!
I believe theres no reason the US government should know what you're buying. I never report my expensive items and always get by Customs at LAX.

Akihabara is usually the best place for car decks.
Most shops also sell open box items at a HUGE discount.

You must go to Super Auto Bacs. So much audio equipment!

Buying from this site that you put up, which frequency converter is the best one the $45 one or the cheaper one? Also I see that there's the 12mhz or the 20mhz

I'm in Okinawa, I go to AUTO BACS all the time!!! I see alot of our American audio products in there with jacked up prices!!! I see what I want though for my car and start to put the money together. I get simple things here and there. I'm in the Marines stationed out here and the Japanese are into their I.C.E. But the Americans aren't since they're not back in the states.
