Will Alpine Type R 6.5" speaker magnets fit in civic doors w/out cutting sheet metal?

I have read on these forums that many people had to cut apart the sheetmetal on the civic door in order to get the speaker magnet to fit???
does anyone have any experience with installing Alpine Type R speakers in the doors? i'm looking at a pair of type R 2-ways but i think the Type R components speakers have the same size magnet.
I prefer not having to cut the sheetmetal because the civic sheetmetal is rolled for maximum stiffness. i dont want to cut that part off...
