Yo,

I searched but don't think I knew what to search to see if this has been asked before.

I got 2 12" cerwin vega v-max's See my car and subs at cardomain!

I need to know what direction is best for sound quality and loudness...

Here's the thing, I currently have the subs faced forwards so I can drop my seats. But I'm getting all my seats vinyled and don't want to hide the beautiful work. While my seats are up, how can I get the loudest possible sound from my subs.

Should they face forward?
How far from a reflective surface should they be?

I would love to find out for myself, but my neighbours will not put up with the racket. So can you guys tell me from your own experience, or if you've worked stereo installs for a shop, please help!!

Got any other tips to make the bass as loud and clear as possible??

ALSO: See attached image... does anyone think that creating vents into the cabin of my car while the seats are up will help with clarity and loudness?

ALSO!!!! My V-max's are beautiful even from the magnet side... Does reversing the magnet to face out of the box help? or does it make the sound worse?
