Extra Tweeters, what to do?
Hey everyone, since I got my new system, which I pretty much got to work, I have had an extra pair of tweeters from my previous JL XR component set as well as the crossovers. I was thinking about adding these tweeters to the back. Here is what I am thinking about, using the XR Crossovers and connecting the stock mids which I have for fill to the mid connection, and then connect the tweeters to the Crossovers and find a place, preferably on the panels between the rear deck and the roof lining. I am figuring that since this setup will be just run off my HU power, the stocks will be able to co-exist with the xr tweeters conneted to the crossovers. What do you all think?

I've seen something like this done on a 240SX before...If it was me, I'd mount the tweeters in the rear deck, and make an angled mounting surface so they're aimed toward the front.

From my experince if your into the total sound reproduction you may be better off trying them mounted up front somewhere or they could produce vocals coming from behind you. I personally like the sound stage to be in front of me as it's supposed to be. But as LudlamTheory said try them in the back if it sounds good to you go with it
