Getting behind/above coin tray

I'd like to get behind/above the coin tray in my '03 Civic sedan, so that I can mount a few hidden switches through the roof of the coin storage bin. Doesn't seem like that's a very popular spot to explore, so I'm hoping I'll get lucky and at least one person will be able to give me some ideas

pull the coin tray down...theres a phillips-head screw (1) that needs to be taken out...then that whole panel can be removed by pulling it out

I tried that. There is also another phillips head screw that is at the bottom of the panel that the coin tray is in. You'll need to take off the fuse panel below the steering wheel and then lay down on the floor and look up at the bottom of the panel to see it. This way you can remove the whole panel with coin tray in it.
