how do get annoying noise to stop!

you know if you turn your key and have your door open you get that beeping noise. is it possible to get rid of that?

It's called a door chime and I don't think you can get it to stop, try checking the fuse box, there might be a fuse for just the door chime.

When I redid my interior lights, I must have blocked it a little. Now it's only half as loud . You may want to try hunting for it and wrap it up to lessen the noise.

but without the pinswitch you have no more door closed sensor for an alarm or your interior lights

Hmmm, it has something to do with the instrument cluster. When I had it unplugged, no chime. Don't know the exact location, though.

Go to your honda dealer, go to the parts department, and ask about the door chime wiring diagrams. They should have a diagram of the chime and where it is in the car.

Mine hasn't chimed since I installed my alarm. May have been the wiring I tapped into. I don't know, I was just happy the first time I opened the door and it didn't do it.
