2K2REDCIVIC... I am curious to see how you changed the position of the screen to the lower pocket. I want to do the same once my HU comes in. Did you take any extra security measures to make sure that the unit is hard to steal? Also is that a center channel in the back? and if it is, did you have to amp all your speakers so the front rear center and sub had different amps?
Thanks

In the next couple of months, prolly next after I move into my new house, here's what I'll be installing.

7inch Lilliput Touchscreen display (mounting it below defrost / air buttons)
Usb 2.0 DVD / CDRW player (mounting in tray below sterio)
1200 watt inverter
Dell Inspiron laptop (mounting in trunk)
USB trigger mouse
Wireless card for laptop (when I cruze up to Starbucks, I can check the forums )
Wiring that up to the aftermarket head unit for sound

Can you watch the dvd player while you are driving down the road? I read some info on the new Pioneer in dash dvd system and it says it won't play the dvd unless the vehicle is parked? is there a way around this?

i got a question, i'm looking into a dvd player soon and i just wanted to know do any of the dvd players play movies in surround sound? i wouldnt think so since theres no center speaker but i thought it would be sweet if some did. and do they work with your subwoofers? so if your watching a movie with explosions does it sound deep and bassy? (<--real word?)
