careful, most of the good names out there are using net enforcers.. they will shut you down if you are not an authorized dealer.. and most of the good names out there do not have authorized online dealers

i like audio stores that have good name brands like RF , audiobahn , pioneer ect ect but also have higher quality stuff like jl and alpine you get the picture. but a big thing is ACCESORIES i dont like having to make a stop at best buy or radioshake.

maybe you can solve my fuse problem

are you bridged down to 2 ohms? is so you need atleast a 4 guage wire becuase you are pushing 1000 watts, i can get you the parts but as far as wiring your system. make sure you have a Farom cap of 1 farom and a BIG *** fuse in the wire from the battery.

I would keep the 80 amp fuse that came with the amp. they are kind of like body pain. if your body hurts its because it isn't working properly and by taking advil or something all your doing is covering the pain and could potentially hurt yourself more. by getting a bigger fuse you could fry your system if that fuse dosn't blow.

makes sense but don't quote me on it!!

the fuse that blew was by the battery fuse not a fuse in the amp. so if i just switch to 4ga and use another 80 watt fuse i should be good? if not where can i find higher rated fuses like 100-150 watts.

If i were opening a shop, I'd make sure to carry good, reliable equipment, that shops around me do not carry. some of those brands include Image Dynamics, Resonant Engineering, Treo Engineering, Adire Audio, Elemental Designs, Nakimichi, etc. If you carry the same stuff as your competitors, potential customers will shop out the cheapest price, not go by shop reputation. Build a good repoire(sp?) between your shop and customers. Be polite, and give the people straight forward honest answers. Carry mainstream stuff, but supplement it with names that arent so mainstream, yet are good performers. And like sadboy said, carry accessories as well. From distro blocks, caps, batteries, possibly headlamps (bulbs), and im sure you could get the hookup with some aesthetic accessories such as neons (the kids love em'), seatbelt pads, etc (thats all i could think of spur of the moment). also, aren't caps measured in FARADS, not faroms?

I have all that stuff except some of those brands but ad far as accessories i got things from splicers to shift boots to lighting and so on and so on and so on, youll see when i become a vendor!!!!!
