repairing subs
I have a 12" Rockford Fosgate Power hx2 sitting in my garage. I think i put it aside because the dustcap fell off of the sub. Well not fall off but everytime the bass hits i hear it rattle. Is there a way to glue it back or am i SOL.

Cone on a 12" woofer = approx 12"
Dust cap on a 12" woofer = approx 4-6" depeding on manufacture
The dust cap is the center cap of the woofer, usually has manufactures name on it.

well damn i just checked the sub and it seems like the voice coils are messed up cause if you push the sub it, it stays in and if you push the sub out it stays out.
damn shoulda had it warrantied when i had the chance
