Would this work?

I need more highs!! I have too much bass and i was thinkin if i can hook up another amp for my Kenwood eXcelon component speakers. Could i do it with this amp

yeah; using an external amp makes a huge difference. Just be sure you get an amp with a power rating thats reasonable for the speakers. Also, you want to get an amp with a HPF (high pass filter). Its kind of like LPF on subs, where they only amplify low tones, except this would cut out whatever your subs are doing; so better sound quality there.

just about anytime you hook up an external amp you will see improved sound out of your speakers, and once you turn to external power you will never turn back, it's definitely the way to go.....well worth the investment.
