I have been having a really difficult time taking the head unit off of my 03 LX. I went thru the DIYs and it seems they are missing a step r it isnt my exact car. I have had a indash tv and new head unit sitting in my house for over a month Please help

there are a lot of screws that hold it in, the actual HU to the bracket around it. i seem to remember some down by where the A/C controls were that i didn't see at first.

Are you talking about taking the HU off of the big dash piece (the trim piece with the rear defroster button and a/c button) or taking off the dash piece out of the car? Because if you're talking about taking the whole dash part out(wow what great technical terms), I had somewhat of a difficult time taking it out.. To this day, I still hate taking it out and I hate putting it back in even more. I've taken it on and off several times and everytime I spend about 20 minutes trying to get the clips to line up correctly. But good luck with it anyhow.
