Exclamation Fixing a sub.. ??

I have two JL 10w0s and the lining cracked in both of them.
I'm guessing is because I was hitting them too hard while they were still cold (-30 canadian weather ) I was wondering if its possible to fix this kind of rip ? I've seen audio stores carry the linning but how would you remove the old one and what kind of glue should i use?

Any suggestions would be good !!!

Regularjoe is on a distinguished road
I would think fixing would cost more than buying new.

dab a layer of silcone on the holes. Can't garentee anything cuz that's the worst place to fock up a sub.

but now.. is it possible to take off the linning and replace it.. that would be the best solution possible from my prespective.

I have no idea. Ask the stores that you saw them at.

Im not sure about JL's repair cost but the last subs i sent in for repair cost less then $50 total and that was with shipping. Looked like brand new when i got them back.

LudlamTheory is an unknown quantity at this point
but jl 10w0's arent quite worth fixing for 50 bucks when you can get new ones for just slightly more than that

so... basically just use that silicone stuff if that doesn't satistfy you then bye bye sub and get a new one. Isn't worth fixing.

i once blew a dust shield off a sub and used a small amount of silicone to reattach it and worked real well
