dead battery......help!

dead battery......help!

Aight so i reiwred my system last night and i think i messed up with the remote line. I have two amps....one is remoted to a fuse and the other i ran the remote from the amp to the distribution block to a power cable.......will that kill my batt.?

Sorry but i cant figure this out in my head and it pisses me off! i am dumb!

If you wired them to a constant power, which is what it sounds like, it could slowly drain the battery. You need to hook the remote turn-on wires from the amps to a switched power that is only on when the radio is on (power antenna lead) or somewhere on the fusebox that gets power when the car is running. That way, the amps are not ON all the time, and draining battery power.

yah i just got back from trouble shooting (which took no time) thats exactly what i did. i just simply spliced the remote that was running from the fuse from the rear of the radio and connected the other end.....all is well.

THANKS FOR THE RAPID REPLY

Lesson Learned;

DONT DO AUDIO WORK WITH LIL TO NO LIGHT, and double check all connections and wireS!
