JVC Headunits
I currently have a Panasonic 601 HU. It has graphics and quite a bit on it. I really like my Panasonic but have found a JVC KD-LH 3150 which I have fallen in love with. The JVC has over 1700 colors, mp3 playback and you can put your own pictures and short video clips on it. I was wondering how the JVC qualtiy is and if anyone has this particular HU and can tell me how they like it. Here it is if you would like to see the JVC, Thanks in advance.

JVC makes nothing really that great. the chameleon truly sucked butt, everything else is mediocre at best.
have never owned any. but everytime i see a floor model to play with, the sales guy is like "uhhhh... it's not quite working right now".
pioneer deh-7400 will give you some flash at about the same price range, plays mp3s.

True but I would get more colors on the JVC and I think the JVC looks better than the Pioneer. But thanks for the input, keep them coming.

i have the KD-LH3100, also has PICT. The rest of my system is stock (for now) with one blown speaker but sounds okay and probably better once i get new speakers.
The colors is a red/green/blue combination that you get to adjust so there are lots of colors. Most of them are ugly but there's bound to be a combination you like.
The PICT things is a b*tch to use. The software that came with it is confusing at first. Takes a long time to download the movies into the deck, but stills are only like 3 seconds each. And the quality aint that great because the pictures are hard to see unless its real big.
There are a lot of other little things but I'll leave it at that. I probably made it sound worse than it really is because I love mines... feel free to ask me if you have any more questions.

i've never had any other aftermarket deck so i have nothing to thoroughly compare it to. I've played with my friends' and they're about the same. like I said, even with the little probs, i still love mines so yea. For the price range (mines was around $230 off ebay) i think is a good deal.
If you are looking for one that changes colors and want better performance, try this........
KENWOOD KDC-V7022
KDC-MPV6022 JVC is not something known for performance. I have the first Kenwood and changing colors gets old quick.
