im about to change my HU w/ a MP3 capable HU, which do u think is better BLAUPUNKT, JVC or KENWOOD coz they all are in the same price range

Well of those 3, I'd have to go with the one with more features and better looks. All equal quality workmanship and parts. All reliable, None haeve any major skipping problms, (MP3's always skip easier than CD's).. but not often.

I just got the Blau San Jose and I like it alot so far. For me it was between the JVC and the Blau, but the quality, or lack thereof, of JVC products kept me away from them. The Blau isn't perfect, but it is the best choice right now IMHO. I did alot of research here and that's what I came up with. The real winner might be coming out soon since Alpine, Sony, and Pioneer plan on releasing a(nother) deck this year. I couldn't wait myself. Plus, the Blau was 300 on crutchfield where the JVC was like 400. You can get it cheaper elsewhere, but they won't honor the warantee

He He He yer silly [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. Seriously though.. Clarion's HU's are no better quality than Kenwoood or Blaupunkt.. better then the JVC.. most likely. But if you're going to post big opinions like this.. back them up.. Make a single statement Says nothing as to why someone would value your opinion....I'm not knocking you.. just post some reasons to back up your statement.

WO WO WO WO waht is this crap about all of them being reliable...u have any idea how many jvc's i've had to fix i dislike them intensly...never dealt with blaupunkt and i do like kenwood so go with them [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Having ONE doesn't speak for all of Kenwood's HU's. If it did, then I would say that Kenwood kick a$$.....I've had 3 (each in a different car), and have found them to be reliable, full of functionality, and aesthetically pleasing.....all in all, Kenwood HU's are very cool.
