amp question?

if i have a amp that is rated 400 x 2 at 2ohms stereo and a dvc woffer wire to 2ohms. if run it with the amp on one channel and my mids to the other channel, will i still get that 400 watts to the woffer since the mids are 4ohms?

Cant do that. if your using a sub, you would have to use the LPF, if your using mids and highs, crossover setting would have to be in a FULL mode or have a HPF.

If you had a 4 channel amp it would work.

I wouldn't want to lose my stereo signal on the front speakers either. Not really a good idea.
