I went to best buy and got a install kit to install a new cd player in my vic, which is an 04. My understanding is that the 2001 up kits will work fine on the 03 & 04, right? Also has any one used the american international kit hon-k809? Does it match the dash colors, cause i'm not sure? The wiring harness is by metra, which I have seen some info when I searched, but it is kit 70-1721. Is this also correct? One more question, since the antenna is in the back window, how do you hook it up to the new radio? Is it through the power antenna wire on the wiring harness?

not sure about the kit but if you want am radio you need to hook up the power antenna wire.

the american international kit is the closest match colorwise that i have seen. it has the sparkley fragments in it like the OEM dash. not sure about the wiring harness. the antenna wire should be a black plug with a prong type connector that plugs in the back right of the new hu.

Do i need an antenna adaptor also? Or does all the signal come through the power antenna line? Or will it plug straight up to most aftermarket hu's?

plugs right up, only thing you need is a wiring harness
