anyone know if mtx is a good amp brand? this guy i know is trying to sell me a mtx 8100d or 80001d or something like that for 4 bills what do u guys think?

yes, an excellant brand of amps. I have owned several mtx amps but i switched to xtant, which are much better quality, but also alot more expensive. MTX ranks about equal with Kicker in the amp department. Checkout crutchfield for current prices, cuz don't know what they are going for now.

i used to work there...lol. made right here in phoenix az. great amp that will do 1200-1500 watts.
