I was wondering about something and what some of you have experienced. I turn my system up to where it's very loud inside. Then I get out of the car with the windows down and I can barely hear anything from a few feet away. I can hear other people's stereos from across the street! Anyone know why this happens? I do have sound deanening, but the sound should come through the windows. It's really weird.

go across the street and see how it sounds....remember, bass gets louder the longer it travels. It could also be your system...what do you have?

it could also be the note youre playing.... play a tone sweep and youll hear it get softer and louder....

Well I don't have a great system, but the sub and speakers are amped. And I was talking more about mids and highs. Maybe those other guys just have huge amps with the treble up. I guess other people don't need to hear my music anyway
