go to dealer and listen to speakers in your price range...get the ones that sound the best...if you can, ask the dealer if they have them installed in car you can hear them in. dont buy based on what i say is good. Im not hte one listening to your system.

my advice is dont upgrade your mids and highs if your not going to run a amp to them just get a 50x4 hu and dont let any bass run to the speakers. as for me i have a amp running to boston pro's so without saying my mids and highs are among the best you can hear the words from a looong distance away .
thanks Alex053 for that advice I am just asking b/c there is so much stuff going back and foward about good brands. Some people say that Audiobahn and Sony blow to easy and the kinda off brand are better. I have a kinda noobie question but what are ur Highs and Lows? like what kind of speakers like 6X9 or what? Also bass tubes are they worth the money?

bass tubes are worth the money if you want an easy install, and just want a slightly fuller sound. otherwise no. you will not be heard a block away and in fact many stock systems will put out more bass than your sub. if you are talking about DD, then don't even bother looking at them IMO.
6x9 is a size, like 6 inch or 5.25 inch, they fit in the back of a coupe. i was confused by your question there.
but as alex said you MUST listen to these tweeters before buying. there are many threads about people who spent all this money and HATE their tweeters. i love the piercing crash of cymbals ringing in my ears, but many people are almost in pain by the same sounds. if you are concerned about money especially, then check out the stuff first, why spend it on a blind date with speakers?

What would i have to get to be heard from a block away or something b/c that is what i wanna go for also, would it be better to take out back seat in a 2 door and just put speakers everywhere or just in trunk and leave the seats
