Exclamation Can I Get A Straight Aswer Please?(speakers)!!

OK now can some one please tell me what components i can buy to fit my tweeter pods without cutting or modding and at the same time some speakers to fit in my door without cutting anything only using minimal modding like spacers or what not... i have built a system that is off the hook but my final task are these tweeter and door speakers,,,, from searching past threads no one give a straight answer.. i hear the mb quart tweets fit but the speakers in the door are a pain in the ***.. is there a component set that gives me ease without major modding on both speakers with sounding good????

frustrated & tired please help meeeeeeeee

IF you do the work yourself you will understand why our cars are such a PITA. Blame honda man ..... Definitatly the most difficult install I have faced.

We aren't being difficult ..... The problem is everything is different. Every speaker, every tweeter, everything. There is NO speaker set that I know of that drops in easily.

My Diamond M6's required custom mounting for the woofer and tweeter. And thats after all the research I did pointed to that the tweets were a perfect fit and the doors needed a simple 1/2" spacer.

Pick the speakers you want and then put them in. Just be prepared to do some custom work to do the job right.

MB Quart 5 1/4 components will fit with no mods other than a spacer. It's the 6 1/2 thats a pain. The tweet is very simple and almost a perfect fit.

I had a 96 civic and the polk components fit with no modification. I would imagine it is the same now. your best bet is kick panels. Q forms makes them now for our cars. I disconnected all of my stock speakers and have a set of focals in custom kicks.
I think regularjoe is right though...you are probably gonna have to just buy what you like and hope it fits or mod it if it doesn't.

I don't know of any components that are just going to drop in and sound awesome. Anything that is going to produce nice midbass is going to be fairly large and require a spacer in the door. Tweeters are hit or miss depending on their size.

If you don't want to do any custom modding at all then definatly get qforms. They pop in quick and look factory.
